Playstation 3 vs. Xbox 360 Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s Playstation 3. Both consoles put out amazing graphics and have awesome features. Only one of these consoles can be considered the best of the best. The Playstation 3 is by far the superior console with its Blu-ray integration and amazing cell processor.
The Xbox 360 has a xenon processor. The xenon processor is used in most standard server computers to maintain of that server. Xenon processor are only a step up from basic home computer processors. They provide good computering power, just not good enough.
The Playstation 3, uses the state of the art cell processor. These processors pump out enormous amount of computering power. Cell processors are used in other computers to maintain the amount of information coming from massive multiplayer online games such as World of Warcraft. The Playstation has far better computering capabilities than that of the Xbox.
The Xbox use outdated HDDVD technology. These disc are only slightly larger than standard compacts discs. These disc were discontinued on the video market two years ago after Toshiba announce and switch to Blu-ray. Also HDDVD can only hold up to twenty gigabytes of data which is far less than that of a Blu-ray disc.
The Playstation 3 supports that of a Blu-ray disc. Blu-ray disc are the newest form of storing data. These discs can hold up to 50 gigabytes of data. Blu-ray is now the main provider for movies and video games. With Blu-ray integration, the Playstation is the leader and technology support and movie selection.
In conclusion, Playstation 3 is more superior than Xbox 360 and that of other video gaming systems. Playstation 3 provides more that what it may seem it has and will top what Xbox 360 has got to give.
