1. I am sure, all of you have heard about yoga but anyone knows when we celebrate International yoga day?? Well you might don’t know as just recently United nation has declared that June 21st will be celebrated as an international yoga day. June 21st, last Sunday was celebrated as a first international yoga day across the world. As noted in The Guardian on 21st June 2015, 35,000 people participated in yoga event at New Delhi and set a Guinness World record for the largest yoga class at a single venue.
Thesis statement: The purpose of my speech is to inform you about yoga and its health benefits.
Credibility statement: Although I am not a yoga expert, but as Yoga is an inheriting part of Indian culture, I see myself qualified to speak about yoga. Also I grew up watching my parents performing yoga every day and witnessed benefits of yoga in their health.
