You Say You Want A Revolution Summary
The article “You Say You Want A Revolution” is about the Seven Years War, or also known as the French and Indian War. The French and Indian war was viewed by multiple historians as a big cause of conditions that later led to revolutions on both sides of the Atlantic. The cause of the War was due to enlightenment thinkers were showing their ideas for a while, but were only talked about in theory. When asked about putting it into action, that was a different story. Therefore the people, in the end, did put the theories into action. Their ideas were one of the many ingredients for the revolution, furthermore one of the other ingredients were that both sides were questioning their relationship to the government which caused an uprising. This
relates to what we’re our history class we just wrapped up the topic of the Seven Years War. In addition this article relates to what we learned because it took place in 1775 to 1783 and results in a Treaty of Paris.
