Zero Hour By H. G Wells: A Literary Analysis

People that believe in aliens usually write about them. H.G Wells wrote his story in 1898 and he was talking about how martians invade the earth. Bradbury wrote his story in 1957 and he talked about how children were going to help aliens invade the earth. The authors of “Zero Hour” and The War of the World's portray aliens that are ready to change earth and cause destruction in different ways. Both of the stories has characters that are ready to change the Earth. The children in zero hour thinks that the invasion is just a game but it really isn´t. They think it´s a matter of death and life so they really don't want to be in the house that much. They think that when they go inside out of nowhere the aliens are just going to pop out of nowhere and they will hear a loud noise. In the comic, drill and her mom was having a conversation and the mom said, ¨Heavens Mink, what's going on?¨, Drill says, ¨the most exciting game ever!¨ (bradbury 246). That explains that the kids think that it´s just a game because obviously mink says it.
