A SCARY NIGHT
A SCARY NIGHT
It was an old and creepy house, my friends and I where on camping. The wind blew heavily that the tress where dancing and there was lightening. One of the girls was in the kitchen and another in the palour watching TV. Suddenly the lights went out, we were all scared. We heard screaming coming from the neighborhood which made us more frightened.
Suddenly we heard a bang which made us run upstairs to the room. We all went under the bed as terrified as we were. We saw shadows and movements. All of a sudden we heard footsteps growing louder and louder and then we saw a man’s foot by the door. The person walked in the room looking around. Lucky for us he didn’t see us and he went out. We heard a window shatter. One of the girls wanted to scream but I held her mouth shut. We stayed under the bed for what felt like an hour.
We finally decided to get out of there and go check if anyone was still in the house. Because there was no light, each of us held a touch and walked down the stairs. “You two check the kitchen, Ann and I will check the sitting room” I said to two of my friends. They both agreed and went off. Ann stood very close to me terrified than I am. We reached the sitting room and pointed our touch everywhere. “No sign of him anywhere” said Ann. I shook my head in agreement with her. “Let’s check the Guest room” I said. We both walked towards the Guest room and pointed the touch again. “Nothing” said Ann, “he must have left”. “I hope so” I said to her.
In the kitchen, Sue and Gracie where still looking. “I’m scared” said Gracie. “Here, take this” Sue said handing Gracie a knife, “use this to protect yourself. Gracie so terrified took the knife from Sue and shook her head in agreement. They searched the entire kitchen and saw nothing. With a sigh of relief the left the kitchen and went back to the sitting room to look for Ann and I. “We couldn’t find anyone or anything in the kitchen” Sue said whispering to me. I shook my head and said okay.

I started by asking Mr. and Mrs. Smith what they remembered about the night. The mother hesitantly replied saying her son had told her that he heard weird footsteps before he was attacked. She then started to weep from the realization that the footsteps were from the attacker. As her husband tried to comfort his grieving wife, I asked him what was taken from the house. He thought for a moment and then replied, “Nothing, not a God damn thing.”…

Once the investigators had finished eating up the lamb leg they continued to search her house for any other clues. They searched every single room of the house. Three hours later they started gathering their materials. “Well Mrs. Maloney it doesn’t looked like we have came to a conclusion on exactly what happened to your husband.” One of the police officers told her. “Oh, but you will still continue to search for answers right?” Mrs. Maloney questioned him. “It doesn’t look like we have come to much luck in this investigation. Goodnight now.” The police officer replied. The investigators and the police officer were now heading out of the house and getting into their cars and going away. Mrs. Maloney walked closed the front door and walked back into the living room. “Gosh, I don’t know what I would have done if I was caught.” Mrs. Maloney thought to…

One night Lynse, Sophia, Macy, and I were hanging out. It was around 10 o'clock when we decided to go outside and jump on the trampoline. When we got out there we were having so much fun. We were doing flips and playing games, just doing our normal thing. After awhile all of a sudden, we all heard this noise. Right, next to Lynses house there is woods and cornfields so it made it more creepy. Then we all looked by her shed and we saw this huge shadow. We didn't know what it was but our first instinct was that it was a cat but it wasn't. Again it made this noise and we knew that it was a raccoon. We all went to grab our phones to call her dad but we forgot that we had put them under the trampoline for light since it was so light. We were all nervous to get…

Sometimes you would hear footsteps, on other occasions you could hear faint screaming at night, or even whispers. The parents just brushed it aside and claimed that the house was old and creaky and at night the wind creeps through the house causing the screaming and whispering noise. As for the footsteps, everybody just pretended not to hear those. One day though, Sarah followed the sound of the footsteps. It lead her to the basement. Sarah didn’t feel too well about that place. It was dim, and dark down there and it always felt damp. “Hello? Is anybody there?” Sarah asked nervously. Nobody answered. Then out of nowhere an ice cold breeze flew through the air and left the room in a few seconds. That was all Sarah needed to actually believe that her and her family were not alone in that house. She ran up the stairs and went to find her sister to tell her what had happened. When Sarah found Sally, she was reading a book on how to get rid of ghosts. “There is something in this house,” she said. Sarah then tells her about her experience and they both start…

As I lie in bed that night I found myself twisting and turning unable to fall asleep, when I heard the loud screech of the screen door opening. That is when I felt a light press on the bed beside me as if someone had just lied in my bed. I quickly rolled over to see that nobody was there and fell asleep thinking that I was just going…

It was a dark spooky Halloween night, I had just finished watching Spookley, the Square Pumpkin. After a long night of handing out non-poisoned candy to weird staggering tots at my doorstep, I felt it was time to turn off the light. Walking to my room, I tripped on something slimy, being dismissive, I labeled it as my long lost sweater and threw it in the hamper. The corridor to my room seemed longer than usual this night, my steps seemed louder, offbeat almost. I quickly looked behind me, no one was there. Picking up my pace, the steps sounded closer, faster. Detecting my room door, I flew in and shut the door. with my back turned towards it. I’m panting, out of breath. Turning away the cover to my bed, I saw it. It was…
