I. Introduction
1.1 Brief introduction of international business negotiation
As we all know, with the acceleration of global economic integration and cross-cultural communication, most of the countries in the world communicate with each other more closely. In other words, the smaller the business world becomes and the more companies enter into the global arena. In recent years, with the development of Chinese market economy and its further extension in opening up to the outside world, especially after its entrance into WTO, China frequently take part in business activities in international affairs.
And business negotiation, as an essential part of business communication plays a decisive role in business activities. And the results of business negotiation are related to both the survival and development of enterprises in the future. So how to negotiate to reach the anticipated goal and how to improve the efficiency of negotiation in foreign economic and trade activities has been considered as the subject which has drawn people’s attention. In modern international economic activities, in order to achieve the success of transactions, they often need a series of difficult and frequent negotiations. Although factors like the quality of products, the technology and the price have a great influence on transactions, the success depends largely on negotiation.
Besides, in business activities, different stakeholders need to negotiate, coordinate and adjust their own interests in the issue of common concern or interest, reaching a compromise on a point and coming to an agreement in order to make conditions favorable for both sides. Therefore, international business negotiation, being everywhere in foreign economic and trade activities, is one of most important business activities.
