John Adams once said, “This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it,” and I completely agree. This quote is very true because religion causes worldwide problems between several individuals all over our country and even the world. If everyone would look around at their neighbors, friends, and even world leaders; religion keeps us all apart one way or another. If we could all come together into one and believe that everyone is equal, than the world be finally be at peace.
Each religion has its own set of rules and regulations that each person has to strictly follow. But there are plenty of hypocrites that do not follow the rules in a serious manner. For example, Mormons, the ones that go to church every Sunday then go home and drink beer are defiantly in this category. Another example is Jewish believers, they cannot consume pork, but I am positive that they all do not follow that guideline at one time or another. The major rule that I am confident each religion has is to never take the Lord’s name in vein, but I am also positive that the Lord’s name is said wrongfully every day. I can strongly say that the majority of people that are in a religious group do not follow all of the rules. Being a hypocrite is far worse than simply believing there is a God and having each individual equal in the world.
God did not want us to be trapped in certain categories; he wanted us to be on the same level as everyone else. Religious groups are brainwashing and misleading. “The Book of Mormon” is a separate book from the Bible that any human shouldn’t follow or believe in. Our beloved father only wanted us to follow one specific book and it is called the Bible. Another example of wrongdoing in a religious group is the killing of animals. Devil Worshipers sacrifice an innocent animal for their religion; that is merely unconstitutional. God would have never wanted a creature
