I under sincere thanks of Mr.______, my Physics teacher, who acted as my guide and took great pain to help me in the entire project. I would also like to thank my family and friends for their valuable help and guidance.

PRINCIPLE
Step-down transformer

A Transformer based on the Principle of mutual induction according to this principle, the amount of magnetic flux linked with a coil changing, an e.m.f. is induced in the neighbouring coil, that is, if a varying current is set-up in a circuit induced e.m.f. is produced in the neighbouring circuit. The varying current in a circuit produce varying magnetic flux which induced e.m.f. in the neighbouring circuit.

INTRODUCTION

A transformer is an electric device which is used for changing the A.C. voltages. A transformer is most widely used device in both low and high current circuit. As such transformers are built in an amazing strength of sizes. In electronic measurement and control circuits, transformer size may be so small that it weighs only a few tens of grams where as in high voltage power circuits, it may weigh hundreds of tones. In a transformer, the electrical energy

Democratic societies struggle with the demands of ethnic minorities. In the last decade of the twentieth century, these struggles were intensified by the rise of new cultural claims and claimants. Democratization led to discussions about citizenship and membership, which raised questions of national identity and belonging. The Soviet Union disintegrated as its component units exercised their rights to self-determination; the European Union attempted to develop new level of protection of minorities; and indigenous rights were eventually involved in international law. The demands of ethnic minorities punctuate the political landscape both in rural and urban areas, in developed and developing countries, in the East and in the West, re-adjusting…
