After completing the Career Plan Building Activities: Competencies, Career Interests Profiler, Work Culture Preferences and the Reasoning Aptitude, I have learned tremendous information about my strengths associated to my profile.
First, the Career Interests Profiler questionnaire shows that: 1) I am conventional, 2) I am social and 3) I am enterprising. These personal characteristics represent well my personality. I believe it will help me in my career plan as an Accountant. Being an Accountant, you need to be conventional which involve following procedures and routines in a business setting. It also includes working with data and details such as to hold mathematics skills. As an accountant, being social is essential, it guides you to work and help others, to communicate and teach others. It also involves being in charge of starting up or carry out projects. It means being a leader to others and makes many decisions within a business accounting setting.
Second, the Work Culture Preferences Activity questionnaire describes my personal characteristics as being in high power, well-resource and ethical. These skills are relevant to establish a stable and strong work culture in a business accounting setting. It allows me to be in charge of the employees and stay focus on the cores’ values of the business as well as my own. Therefore, maintain strong communication skills and ethical values will guide me to explain to customers their financial statements and all their questions non-answered.
Third, the Reasoning Aptitude Activity questionnaire certified that I have a sense of leadership and a capability of networking in a business setting. It also shows that I possess expertise in general and hold a persuasive personality with others.
