Management responses from Daydream Island Resort

Dear Mr. Mahon,

Thank you very much for the feedback with regard to your recent stay on Daydream Island. It is certainly disappointing to hear that Daydream did not meet with your expectations on your visit.

As you can appreciate your visit coincided with the traditional school holiday period, which is a time when families choose to holiday and spend time with their children. Daydream Island does cater to all travelers including families and as such during the January period Daydream is very popular with families due the range of activities on offer. In regard to your experience at Mermaids Restaurant, this Outlet has never been advertised as “Fine Dining” but as “a la carte” Restaurant catering for all types of guests. I agree that families having fun with a “Congo Line” in a restaurant may be inappropriate to some, as is the behavior on this occasion, of various unsupervised children; however Management did request the guests involved to exercise better parental control over their children, so as to respect the other guests dining at that time.
Management of Daydream Island encourages all guests to enjoy their stay but certainly not at the expense of other guest. And any behavior we deem inappropriate is addressed accordingly.

We would like the opportunity to welcome you back to Daydream, preferably outside the general school holiday period, and we have every confidence your experience next time around will be extremely positive.

Thank you again for your feedback

Sincerely yours,

Warren Corriston
Resort Manager
Daydream Island

Once upon a time on the beautiful island of Hawaii, there were people everywhere on resort Namaste. It was a nice and peaceful place, light windy breeze, cool pretty blue water, children playing on the beach and people just relaxing on this nice Thursday. There were other resorts on the island, but Namaste was everyone’s favorite resort. The resort owner, Jack Nelson did everything in his power to make sure his guest was pleased while they stayed at the resort, so his resort could retain the title as the best resort of Hawaii islands. He also had an advantage as to why his resort was the best resort in Hawaii, it’s because he had a lot of friends and favorite guests and they always put the good word in for him. He also had some people who weren’t too fond of him and they tried everything in their power to destroy his business such as…

The commitment to Second Life would be a sizeable investment for the marketing department and require a significant amount of deliberation from STA Travel executives. The investment would enable STA Travel to break into the “virtual tourism” market; however there are hesitations to committing to the contract due to reservations that STA Travel will not be able to design events on the Island that would attract young users and guarantee continued growth for the company as a whole. Overall, the idea of these virtual destinations, or islands, having the…

We do arrive safely at our all-inclusive resort and, after the drive. The cheery, personable valet also bumps fists with me, offers the phrase "Respect Mon, “and hands me a fancy tropical fruit drink.. We sip our drinks, now fully relaxed on a comfy sofa in the breeze-filled Colonial-style parlor. Some more laided back employees then take away our bags and takes to our room.
