Q1. Job Analysis is the process of identifying the tasks, duties and the responsibilities of a job within the organization. This process is used to determine the placement of jobs.
Job analysis identifies paths of job progression for employees that are interested in improving their opportunities for career advancements.
Job analysis is divided into two areas. Job description and Job specification.
Job Description is an important document that contains a statement of job analysis. It gives information about the jobs activities, responsibilities and position of the job in an organization. Job specification tells us about the requirements needed for the job. Some of the requirements are qualifications or experience.
