Volunteer Information
Purpose of this Committee:
Determine LEED content and approve instructors (via RFP)
Establish LEED content delivery strategy outside of Denver metro area
Inventory and Coordinate LEED content delivery (to include New York Urban Green’s training program)
Audit classes: Review class content prior to delivery & Review class content during delivery
Identify and arrange LEED facilities, community tours (via RFP)
Vision: Provide the highest quality Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) education available to green building professionals. LEED is the most widely recognized and used green building program across the globe. LEED is a certification program for buildings, homes and communities that guides the design, construction, operations and maintenance.

Education Goals (CY13):
1) Offer a minimum of 10-12 CE Hours per branch/region (does not include Rocky Mountain Green and Green Schools CE Hours).
2) Develop statewide comprehensive programming:
Create RFP for calendar year
Develop processes and procedures to streamline program replication (e.g. topic specific event toolkit, marketing templates, etc…)
Create education catalogue to clarify educational opportunities
3) Diversify target audience by exploring new areas and markets:
Contractors and Sub-Contractors
Residential
Developers, Planners and Asset Managers
Government
