The main conflict in the book with that the Murry family’s father is stuck in another world. This would be considered an external conflict. It is resolved with the help of the main character Meg and her two helpers, Charles and Calvin. Throughout the book, they meet three women who are from a different planet. They explain to them that there is a villain who is holding their father captive. In order to get to that place where her father is, they must travel through time and different dimensions. Ultimately, Meg, Charles, and Calvin manage to beat the bad character and save her father from the evil darkness.

In turn, the planet Uriel is completely different than Earth, making me wish that they were similar. This part of the book makes me desire to live in such a creative planet and almost depicts that I see in my dreams.
