Concert Review The first song I heard is Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture‚ composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. It is written at 1880‚ a romantic period music. It is a sonata allegro form‚ which consist an exposition‚ a development‚ and a recapitulation. However‚ it is hard for me to find connection between three parts when I was at the concert. Moreover‚ I did not realize there is three parts until I did the research after the concert. I was really into music and picturing the Romeo and Julia

There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread. It has been proven that people can not resist without eating for a couple of days‚ so it is obvious that food is vital in someone’s life. We like it or not‚ we have to eat in order to stay alive. Also‚ eating is a physiological need‚ like having enough water in our system (drinking water) or sleeping‚ so eating is one of the most important things for a human beeing. What is the hunger? The motive behind this concert is to offer a safe alternative to Alta Vista Baby (AVB) Week‐end‚ a spring event in which students for X University rent houseboats to engage in heavy partying. Concert Review On April 8th 2004 I attended the "Music for Piano" concert featuring Bette Coulson and Philip Seward at the Columbia College Concert Hall. The show was only about an hour. Mr. Seward and Mrs. Coulson played five pieces together and then each play on solo. This was my first piano concert‚ of any kind‚ that I have attended. This was something new for me. The concert included seven different pieces. Claude Debussy composed three of them‚ La puerta del vino‚ Le Vent dans la Plaine‚ and

Concert Report This semester I attended a jazz concert put on by Truman State University’s Department of Music. It was on December 5th at 8 pm‚ in Ophelia Parrish Performance Hall. The university’s Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Lab band both performed. Both bands were directed by Tim AuBuchon. The bands drew in a decently sized crowd. I was able to recognise several of my peers sitting in the audience alongside of me. I pleasantly surprised by the size of the bands and the level of skill they had. Both
