    A community issue that is important to me‚ is a lack of youth minority role models. This is an issue to me because minorities need someone to look up to and someone to lead them. Especially in the African American community when fatherly or a typically male played role is not always there. Not having a role model can easily affect a child and their aspirations. That is why I think there should be more minority role models‚ so other minorities students will have one another to support and one another
