Self-awareness: This enables the child to understand themselves, how they get to learn best and how they can relate and communicate with others, with it being other children or adults. They can also understand what and why they are feeling these things. When a child has self-awareness they should be able to: realise that thoughts and behaviour are all tied together in some way or another, that they can take responsibility for their actions, how and at what times they can learn best and recognise when they find something difficult to achieve and when to ask for help.

Water buckets used outside with paint brushes and encouraged to paint the ground or anything around with the water from the bucket.
Writing in third person about something/someone
To do this we could choose a short story with a meaning and few characters then after the story has been shared with class each pupil then chooses a character from that story and describes their character and how the character could be feeling and possibly how the pupil would feel if in that situation
Discussion Groups
In group discussion pupils will learn to:
Express themselves clearly
To justify opinions
To tolerate different views
This will give the opportunity to hear pupils voices, be open to new ideas.
We would have to choose a topic that pupils are motivated to talk about and which can be discussed at their level of knowledge and understanding. We will have the choice of class discussion or group discussion. I we use group discussion it would be better to have mixed ability groups as they tend to be better for fluency
