‘Explain own role and responsibilities in lifelong learning’ (150 words)
The ‘Learning Cycle,’ describes my role and responsibility to my learners:
Identify Needs – find out the organisation’s own, and potential learner’s needs by carrying out initial assessment; agree individual learning plan.
Plan learning – prepare scheme of work, session plans, plus teaching and learning materials, and liaise with others to ensure the full syllabus is covered.
Facilitate learning – use a variety of teaching and learning approaches.
Assess learning – check learners have gained the necessary skills and knowledge (give feedback).
Quality Assurance and Evaluation – evaluate myself and the programme, gain feedback
