This web 2.0 tool allows for teachers to have control over the classroom through a scoring process. I have seen this in use in a second grade classroom and how effective it actually was. When the students would hear an addition in points they would look up at the board, where Class Dojo was shown, to see how someone was acting and they would then model that behavior. The same would go for students who were getting points deducted, they would look to see who it was and how they were acting so that they did not act the same way and they would follow the directions. The strengths of Class Dojo would be allowing teachers an easy way to add up their participation scores. This medium allows for teachers to keep track of scores for participation, homework and classroom behaviors, whether it be adding or deducting points. I was unable to find any weaknesses on this website because it does everything that it is expected to have. There is not anything on this website that it says it should do that does not happen, and the basic principle of classroom management is what this website does.
