Why should you use apps to keep track of assignments?
Today, everybody uses a smartphone to access the Internet, keep in touch with friends, message and even use it as a diagnostic device. As the new school year comes close, these smartphones can prove to be important tools that help in completing different college assignments. The applications can be widely used across various age groups, however, it is important to be sure and that the college allows the use of these applications and as a student no rules are being broken.
These applications are designed to schedule time, manage notes and even remember to reschedule work if necessary. The following are some of the list of applications that can be used:

Evernote: Free to download, the application is available for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Mac, web, Microsoft Windows and Palm Pixi. Although the application is not an actual planner or a calendar application, but if the student takes notes to remain organized, Evernote will be the correct one just for this. All images, notes, pdfs, web pages can be copied or downloaded, separated into folders. The notes can be recovered easily with the search that allows to search via tags or keywords. The app is even capable to search for the words that are located in the pictures that have been taken, which is a good feature. With this application, you will never forget or miss a reading assignment. All free accounts are given upto 60 MB of upload data per month which is upgradable at a minimum price.
Google calendar: Another free application, the Google calendar is available for the web, Sync, Windows, Blackberry and iPhone. It seamlessly integrates all the devices and the student can begin with the web application.
