A Career As A Navy Nurse

Not only did my faith affect me as a person and socially, but it also affected me academically. My desired major is nursing; I have always wanted to be in the healthcare system to offer my help to those who need it. I realized that nursing would be the profession for me when I was given the opportunity to volunteer in the Emergency Department at a hospital. It was an incredible experience to observe the nurses’ work difficult long hours and to still have compassion towards all their patients. Nurses affect in how people feel both physically and emotionally consequently that is what I wish to accomplish in my career. I feel that God has led me to choose this profession while shaping me into a compassionate person to truly fulfill the part of becoming a nurse. My ultimate goal is to become a navy nurse. I have always wanted to be a part of the military; I never knew why I wanted to be in the military, but I just knew I had a calling for it. Soldiers risk their lives every day to give Americans freedom moreover it would be significant to me if I could help those brave souls even if it is in a little way. I believe soldiers may become discouraged at times and lose faith.
Along with offering my assistance in a nursing aspect as well as helping soldiers through their difficult times by leading them to Jesus and reassuring them everything will be all right would fulfill my career and religious goals in
