of Audio Engineering and the SAE Technology College) is a private college founded in 1976 by Sound Engineer, Record Producer and businessman Tom Misner. The first school was opened 1977 in Sydney, (Australia). States like California and New York have the most job availability because they have more studios to work at. While places like Texas and Michigan have significantly fewer studios to fill. I think I would really like this job. I would be able to work with something I really enjoy, music. Like many things in the creative arts, the best engineers are in it because it 's their liking and has been for a very long time. It allows you to create and influence creativity at a level that combines some of the most recent emerging technology, work with incredibly good musicians, composers and producers. You may even be able to take a tour around the United States and if you do good there maybe even travel the world. There are some bad things about this field though. Pursuing your passion is never a guaranteed path to getting rich. It 's a group in every aspect of the music field. Groups of talented people struggle with two or three day jobs while untalented want to be “Sound Technicians” nail the really juicy money gigs because of who they know rather than what they are able to do.
