A Narrative Essay About Stadiums

We were in Canada in Summer. My family was headed to the CN tower, one of the tallest towers in the world. As we were heading towards the tall landmark, we saw Rogers stadium. That is where the Toronto Blue Jays play. It looked like there was a game going on in the stadium. Everyone was wearing any kind of Blue Jays apparel. Since I was from the Washington D.C area, I was a Nationals Fan. The plans for that day was to go to the CN tower and go back to our hotel. All of that changed. My mom was amazed at the size of the stadium. As we were heading towards the entrance for the CN tower, my mom requested to go to the baseball game. We got the tickets that were $14 dollars and had seats in the very back of the stadium, even though the view was amazing. So, we bought the tickets and went to the nearest block. We had to go to block 14 and we were at block 4, we did not know about the blocks and having to go to the right one. Not long after, we rushed towards our block and got in. I could still not believe that I was going to a baseball game, even though we did not plan to. Before we got onto the level of the stadium that had the field on it, we had to walk up ramps up four floors. After that short climb, We finally got in the stadium. My family went to find our seats. All I felt as I was walking was excitement in each of my steps. Not only was this my first Major League Baseball game I was going to, but it was my First Major League Baseball game in a different country! That was the most amazing thing I found of that game.
