contain it. I was just so excited that so many people came! I kept jumping and raising my arms in unison to their chants, this was the playoffs for our school team, so the turnout of the crowd was tremendous. The crowd was riddled with green and black face paint and shirts. We were against the Riverdale Raven’s, and the school spirit the students were showing was amazing. As I looked down back to the locker rooms, I saw a blur of black helmets and jerseys. My smile immediately dropped and I began to roll my eyes. Leading their team out of the locker room, was Ricky the Raven, my arch enemy. In my opinion, his costume looked like it was made by a blind two year old in art class. His real eyes met my gaze behind his cartoon bird mask. As he ran out to the middle, his eyes lost their playful glow, and looked glossy and serious. That was odd considering he was supposed to get his crowd excited and not scare them. But as he continued running, he didn’t slow down as he approached the middle, he kept running at me. Oh god...he was running AT ME. Before I could even react to my sudden realization, I felt the strong, muscular arms of the mascot tackle me at my sides. Before I could even try to comprehend what to do, I felt an enormous pain in the back of my head. Everything went black and I lost consciousness.
