that makes her argument agreeable is that some celebrities are most likely doing advertisements just for the money. They are doing it for the money because jo is going to believe that rich famous person is using these products when they could afford way better ones. If they are doing it just for the money then that means they are not really giving their honest opinion and they are just reading a script, giving fake feedback on the product which is not good for the buyers because without a real description on the item, they can be wasting money on not getting what they thought was so great. Another reason is that the audience watching the commercials or looking at advertisements are often mislead. For example, Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein underwear advertisements. Many people are going to look at him modeling in them and think that they would possibly look like it if they wear them too.
Now, a lot of people do think the opposite and think that celebrities should be in commercials. Some may say that it is the customer's job to research the product. That is not true, it's no one's job but the people making the advertisements to put the right research and information in the advertisement. Another reason they might give is that the buyer is not forced to buy anything in an advertisement. Yeah obviously, but it should still be the right information for those who do want to buy it.
Celebrities being in commercials is not so much a good thing. they mislead people into thinking they could possibly look like the person modeling whatever item it is and also no one knows if they give their real opinion because they are so rich that it's like why would they even use these products? Jozi's argument is by far agreeable for all these reasons, celebrities in advertisements, should be banned!
