Leadership is what the main character Clay has that makes him a survivor Leadership is not a position it`s earned by an action which proves one worthy
In the novel Cell by Stephen King, clay shows great leadership qualities in his quick decisions and how much he cares for others. “Let's break into his house and steal all his guns, we can’t fight without guns anymore they outnumber us now” (King 106). …show more content…
Both of these things make a great leader, if you don’t have your groups support then you're letting them down and without the ability to take risks you will never find a better place and Clay leads by example he shows he’s willing to do anything for his friends and they show him the same respect and that's why he is a great leader.
Kayla Montgomery show’s great purpose in every race she participates in despite her MS causing her to lose feeling in her legs
Having a purpose separates the best athletes from the good athletes the people who play like it's their last game are the one’s who find the most success.
In the short film catching Kayla one of her high school friends said “Kayla runs every race like it's her last because it very well could be” (Kissane).
Kayla also runs with inspiration and makes her teammates better “It's just really inspiring to know shes not guaranteed anything” said her teammate
