There are a variety of reasons for an increase in stress and anxiety for a college student such as academic pressure, experiencing college life, and financial concerns. People cope with stress in different ways, whether it be taking time out of the day to focus on oneself, exercising, or talking to someone, but rarely do college students have the time to cope with stress because of academic pressure and schoolwork. The biofeedback stress lab is a portable, user-friendly device that uses an emWave program to help students learn to take control of their stress and anxiety.
