In North America we have the privilege to have a freedom of belief, which is a wonderful thing that allows us to think freely, and for ourselves. Although, difference in Religious beliefs can make things much more difficult to deal with when it comes to debates on topics such as capital punishment, or abortion. Allowing for different beliefs also allows for the different rules and teachings that follow them.
In Christianity it is taught that killing the innocent is not okay. Christians believe it is wrong to kill the innocent, thus leading them to be against abortion.
