Faith would have been far less. God did not even tell him at this time that he would give him the land, only show it to him. During his lifetime Abram never gained possession of any of that land save a small plot where he buried his dead. The apostle describes his astounding faith in these words: “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed, and he went out not knowing whither he went” (Heb11:8).

The lord had called Abram alone from Tara, who had decided to take the whole family in to the land of can an(Isa.51:2).

Covenant of Abraham (Genesis15:7-21)
The Abraham covenant and the importance of the covenant in the life of Abraham is
And he said unto him, I am the Lord that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldea’s, to give thee this land to inherit it. And (Abram) said, Lord God, where by shall I know that I shall inherit it?”
Here the Lord repeats his promise to give Abraham all the land of cannon, and Abraham asks God for assurance and confirmation. Therefore, God makes a covenant with him.
After Abraham had sojourned in the land of promise twenty-four years, the Lord made a covenant with him and changed his name to Abraham (Gen.12:4,5/17:1-5).
The Lord proposed to make of him a great nation and to perpetuate the covenant through his offspring (Gen.17:6,7).
We have an account of God’s covenant with Abraham (Gen.17comp.Lev.26:42).
Conclusion
Creation is Good: Seven times in Genesis 1 we read “...and it was good,” leaving us no doubt about the state of God’s creative work.
When God creates, there is nothing bad, broken, or deficient. He is good, therefore what he makes is good
