Action Learning

The focus of the Action Learning Set will be to explore the interface between communication, relationships and workplace issues, and will provide you with the opportunity to gain some different perspectives on the challenges you face in terms of your relationships with stakeholders (Learning Outcome 2). In preparation for this you will need to undertake Activity 3.2 in which you: • Identify a workplace issue which you wish to explore in detail with your cohort colleagues. (This might be a topic you have planned to explore in an assignment for another module or one of your development activities for SBL.) • Prepare a summary of the issue for initial review by your colleagues. • Your summary of this issue should be posted on to the discussion forum, using the template attached (dephi.docx). Summaries should be posted to the discussion thread headed Relationship and Communication Issues. • Prior to Workshop 2 on 12 Feb, you should read the posts of at least 2 of your colleagues and provide initial feedback in reply, by making a note of any comments or statements that you find particularly interesting or relevant, or posing supplementary questions to develop your understanding of their issue. (I have attached a list of authors and reviewers to help you in this ( Preparation for learning group 1 activity.docx) Given the timelines, it would be great if the initial contribution to your discussion thread could be done by 3rd Feb. All reviewers should have completed their contribution by 10th Feb to enable the initiator read through all the contributions ready for our session on 12th
