To me, one of the advantages of living in a tight-knit community would be the sense of belonging. As human beings, we all crave to “belong” or to be part of something. Living in a close-knit community gives us the sense of belonging when we live amongst people who share the same religion, racial background, tradition or even a way of life. However, with the feeling of "belongingness" comes with lack of diversity.
