Respect nursing assistants due to they know the wards inside out. They will take the time to show you how to care for a patient that takes advantage of the nurse. Form working relationship with your C.N.A.’s and they will go over and beyond to help you.
Make sure you know what you are doing; before taking on or completing a task. Make sure you understand the task and are capable of completing what has been asked if you can or have completed it before. Nobody will think less of you for being careful and they will help stand by and teach you the task in hand.
If a patient asks for something, think carefully about what you are being asked and the response you will give to the patient. We all go into the nursing field
