Commercial Air-conditioning or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) J.Ilangumaran Commercial air-conditioning or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) It refers to the mechanical systems which heat, cool, filter or dehumidify air in a room or building. HVAC systems control the ambient environment (temperature, humidity, air flow, and air filtering) in homes and commercial buildings and are crucial in maintaining environmental conditions in critical applications such as data centers, medical rooms, computer server rooms, and other clean room applications.…
Brazilian multinational corporation, Metalfrio Solutions S.A., is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of plug-in commercial refrigeration equipment. The attack of "conscience" that King Richard suffers in Act 5, Scene 5 of Shakespeare's Richard III (133-157) can be seen as the psychological climax of the drama, one that is critical to both Richard's development as a character and the play's ultimate success. Richard's struggle to reconcile the many different roles he attempts to play into one unified self, reflected in the tone and composition of his speech, adds depth and humanity to his character; at the same time, his ultimate failure to maintain his "self-made" identity simplifies the play in a way that allows the author to satisfy his audience by punishing the villain and reaffirming the world views that Richard's character appears to challenge (Luxon). While examining his own vision of himself, Richard finds his identity at a breaking point, and is forced to rely on the very ideas he used for his own advantage to judge himself. As the king, who seemed to be above the "afflict[ion] of "coward conscience" (5.5.133) is overwhelmed by the many different conceptions of who he is that are presented in the play, the audience cannot help but feel a mixture of sympathy and relief.…
Air is composed of molecules. Air is matter. It has mass and takes up space. Air is composed of different gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, water vapor, and other gases. Air molecules are in constant motion. As they move, they come in contact with surfaces. Air molecules push and press on the surfaces they contact. The amount of force per unit area that air molecules exert on a surface is called air pressure. (What is Air Pressure 6) Air pressure is caused by all of the air molecules in the Earth's atmosphere pressing down on the Earth's surfaces. We can measure air pressure to help us predict weather conditions around the world. Temperature also affects air pressure because air contracts when it cools and expands when it is heated. So if air above a region of Earth cools, it does not extend to as high an altitude as the surrounding air. In this case, its pressure at higher temperature is lower than in the surroundings even when the pressure at the surface is the same as in surrounding areas. Then air flows into the cooler region at high altitude, making the total weight of air above the region greater than in the surroundings. This is a "high". The cool air descends to the earth's surface. Near the surface, the falling air spreads out,…
Portakabin commercial staff were constantly asked for extra services such as air conditioning. This is a good example of Ansoff’s new product development which extended provision within its existing market. As a building supplier it soon realised that customers expected their wider customer needs to be met. Customers required more than just a building shell, they also wanted a range of services that complemented the building and produced ‘ready to go’ working environments.…

Another element of the marketing mix is the product range. After developing a bestseller, the 3C backhoe loader, JCB knew it would need more than one successfulproduct to sustain its growth, and so JCBs product range has grown from just one to between nine and thirteen product types, with130 to 160 different models. This is anindication of how committed JCB are to new development, which has lead to the widedepth of products we now see today. So not only do JCB promote quality, but have a good range of products for clients to choose from. This also shows how forward looking the company is, by looking for gaps in the market place and listening to whatcustomers need. JCB have recently announced in a network…
Before designing a new production process, Riordan has to eliminate all the bottlenecks in the production (inventory and manufacturers). Selecting alternative suppliers of motor fans will improve production schedules and help to balance the company’s global forecast and improve customer satisfaction. In addition the company should apply Just in Time strategies focusing on reducing raw material costs, eliminating waste and continuous production improvement. Figure 1 represents a flowchart the new process design…
