The civil rights are the ones that belong to every person disregarding of the race, ethnicity, religion, or any other factors of differentiation. One of the factors is also gender, and the American Century managed to show that women should have the rights equal to the men. The civil rights provided to the Americans became a basis for the development of the growing equality so that it could become the foundation of the life around the world. The United States were the country where the women's rights movement evolved and spread its impact to achieve the set goals. They were fighting for gaining the right to vote, to be employed, to have the right for owning property in the marriage and managing it.
