American Dream Research Paper
American hopes and dreams are different from everyone. We who know wrong from right even have different views on the same thing. Who’s to say I am wrong and vice versa. I believe my hopes and dreams for America are just that hopes and dreams. Until, we all agree or the majority of us will agree we will not have a great future ahead of us. My hopes and dreams for the United States of America will most likely not happen while I am alive because my hopes and dreams seem so far from what is happening now in America. I dream of one day being able to not be judged by the color of my skin or the tattoos I have on me. I dream of all of us coming together and find better ways to do things. We research on helpless and innocent animals and it is horrible what they go through. This is 2010 there are other ways to research on simulated animals or dead animals. Animals are not humans and that kind of research means nothing to me it does not help America only hurts us. Why do we have so much hatred in our hearts why do we hurt God’s creatures like we do. My hope for America is for everyone to have a heart and care

I dream we can all live together and get along. All races from Mexican, Asian, Guatemalan and so many others can learn to love each other and love all living things. In one of the essays I read informed me in on how many people die crossing the Rio Grande and I was awed by the number. Why do we continue to let this happen and do nothing about it? It seems as if we do not care about these people. These people come to America hoping and dreaming of better lives and are now a good majority of Americans. One dream I think we can all agree on is to be happy .The pursuit of happiness is what we all look for and strive for .Being happy is what we all want and what I hope for in everyone and every animals
lives.
The US is the most influential country in the world. Today, the notion of the “American Dream” stretches far beyond the idea of political and religious freedom to a more economically oriented base. The United States has increasingly become a consumer based society, so the idea of success is now measured by material wealth, a white picket fenced house in the suburbs complete with car, dog and two children. The American Dream is still alive, but only in the minds of those citizens who have the resources to fulfill the definition of success, material wealth. We no longer are trying to become good honest hard working people. We look at celebrities and people on the streets with Porches and want what they have. I hope for Americans to have better role models and think less about money and more about love and respect. To me my hopes and dreams are so far away and I sometimes think that it will never be. We all know that definition of success but we have different views of what that means. Success to me is to have a family and friends that help support all you do a job that you love no matter the pay, a roof over your head no matter what it may look like, to feel good about your life and all that you have done and to be a good person that helps other people and animals that to me is that American Dream. And I hope everyone will wake up and realize what we are doing wrong before it is too late and America turns into a country of nightmares.
