How does the American culture influence the world entire?
America is a powerful nation. It is one of the largest countries in the world in terms of their total land area. Their large-scale immigration throughout the history has led towards a diverse ethnic and racial background in their society. Many influential people from different factors including musicians, politicians, scientists, filmmakers and a lot more have came mostly from America. Above all, they have always been powerful leaders in many global organizations.
The term Americanization or Americanisation has been used as early as 1907. It is widely used to describe the influence the United States has on the culture of other countries, such as their popular culture, cuisine, technology, business practices and political techniques.
Hollywood is undeniably the largest entertainment industry worldwide. American movies and actors have the largest influence on other entertainment industries worldwide. Their artists are mostly idolized by teenagers around the world, the way they dress, their make-up and hairstyle, and even their lifestyle. Americans export 25 times more movies and TV shows than they consume from abroad. The impact of American movies and TV shows towards younger audiences has become so huge that they now have the desire to be like Americans. The freedom of the American culture has led their children excel in self-confidence. Millions of American children are raised to believe that they can do anything, be anything and that the future is open to them. Having excellence in self-confidence, this concludes why adult Americans are mostly recognized to be risk-takers. According to studies, the companies built, technologies invented, and breakthrough were caused mostly by Americans. There are of course other countries that also contribute to the society through their inventions. But as a whole, no other country comes close to America.
This also concludes why more and more people from around the world are coming to America. Education in America is seen to be prestigious, there is a lot of demand from students who are from strong Asian countries such as China, South Korea and India who are seeking for world class education. The influence of America in Asian countries has even led parents who can afford their children to be sent to America for further studies, enroll their children to English language schools even outside their own country.
