Anacondas are extremely large animals. The average length for a female anaconda is 15 feet, with Males coming in second with an average of 9.8 feet.The average weight is around 550 pounds. Anacondas are a part of a group of snakes called constrictors, constrictors are not venomous snakes. Although the snakes do have teeth, they are not used for killing prey, constrictors strangle their prey by wrapping their body around it and squeezing until it is dead, then they swallow it whole.
