Automated sugar refining
Automated sugar refining was created by Norbert Rillieux. Rilliex created sugar as we know it today. He created a safer and much more efficient way of processing sugar in 1843.
Battery
The battery was invented by Alessandro Volta. It was made of multiple zinc and silver plates stacked on each other, with a wire connected to both ends of the pile. With the wire touching both ends, this creates electricity. The battery was made in Italy in 1800. cotton Gin

It was invented in Scotland in 1816. Brewster first discovered it looking at objects through 2 mirrors. He noticed patterns and colors form themselves into intricate formations. It became popular during the Victorian Age.
Light Bulb
The light bulb was first invented by Thomas Edison in 1879. He used a carbon filament and found out that it would last for over 40 hours. He eventually created a bulb that could glow for over 1500 hours.
McCormick Reaper
The McCormick Reaper was invented by Cyrus McCormick . It changed the agricultural world in 1831. Before the it was created, reaping crops was difficult and limited harvest. It automatically cut, threshed, and bundled grain when the device was pulled through fields by horses. This sped up farming exponentially and changed the way we farmed forever.
Neon Light
The neon light was invented by Georges Claude. He invented it in France in 1902. He applied an electrical discharge to a sealed tube filled with neon, which was used as a gas. By liquefying air, Claude had pure neon in large amounts.
Odometer
The odometer was invented by Ben Franklin in 1763. Franklin’s odometer measured one mile for every 400 revolutions of his carriage wheel. Today, an odometer measures how far you have traveled, and in a car measures your
