The kinds of abuses North Koreans have suffered at the hands of their government are public execution, starvation, and thought – control, religious persecution, forced marriages. The way the government torture it’s people is horrible; same of examples of the torture are when a 14 year old accidentally dropped a sewing machine in a prison camp was punished by having his finger cut off another officer used a blowtorch to bludgeon to death to a sick prisoner who hadn’t worked fast enough and the worst part of this is the officer who did this was rewarded with right to attend a university from the government. Yes, other countries have a moral obligation to intervene when a nation commits crimes against humanity within its own borders because many people are judging North Korea and they all agree what Korea doing isn’t right, but they can’t do anything about it because North Korea has nuclear weapon and if any country tries to do anything against them then they will probably start a nuclear war with that country.
No country wants to take risk over nuclear weapon.

North Korean viewed with concern even before the U.N. report was released because from many resource other countries already knows that North Korea is committing crime against humanity, and also because North Korea has nuclear weapon.
They way North Korea and South Korea got separated is during the Cold War Soviet Union was communist and United States was democratic so, the Soviet Union helps North Korea and made a communist nation and United States helped South Korea to be a democratic nation. It might be difficult to get accurate information about events in North Korea because North Korean government does not allow any news reporter or any kind of person from different country. Also there is no internet access in North Korea so, people can’t put up any information about what is going on in their country. Also TVs in North Korea only some government provided channel and Radios only get government provided signal, where they only talk about how good the North Korean government is.
In the article, a representative of Human Rights Watch says that the U.N. has largely ignored the abuses in North Korea for decades , I think they editor said that because the problem in North Korea has been going on for many years and no countries like United States and Great Britain didn’t seem to care. Also U.N. nation didn’t send their troops to North Korea to save these people either. I think all of these countries and U.N. didn’t interfere because they are scared of the Nuclear Weapon that North Korea has.
I think Human Rights should consider universal because every human being no matter where they live, what is their ethnicity, what religion they practice everyone deserve their own HUMAN rights.
