My theatre group was full of a diverse range of students with various personalities, sexualities, and ethnicities. Not only was I able to find my second family and create meaningful friendships, I was also able to come out of my shell more. Before joining Theatre Production, I was incredibly antisocial, awkward, and feared being in the center of attention. But after the first few months of being a member, I found myself becoming more sociable and actually willing to go up in front of people to speak.
