Andrew Kaul The Savor And Fallow
Comrades! Mr Kelsch is a great teacher but he teaches for one sole reason, to yell and punish them. I know you guys like him but you have to be carful. if you aren’t he could MI you or even worse JUG you. You don’t want that treatment do you. If you let me teach you english and religion it will be a place where you wont get yelled at or criticized in. That is why I Andrew Kaul should run your class. I will teach you songs like Kaul the Savor and Fallow Andrew. Those songs will pump you up to be ready for the day. I will also teach you the things I deem to be important for example: I am a descendant of God. Where as Mr. Kelsch would teach you rubbish like: the wrong set of the ten commandments and stuff on Jesus. What he teaches you is wrong

The essay 'The Role of the Teacher' written by Irving Layton reviews the current state of our ever criticized school system. The author shows us how we view the problems of the school system and explains how and why we place blame on teachers. He shows how 'penny-pinching school boards'(p145) are the real ones to blame and not the teaches whom are the easiest to confront. 'A feeling has grown that schools and universities are not achieving that which they were intended: namely , the enrichment of the individuals life by giving him the tools of self improvement and the cultivated mind to use them'(p145) is how most people view the school board and what the author is trying to discuss. The author uses a logical pattern and an expository purpose. The author uses opinion based format for this essay.…

    Rebuttal to Nick Jans

    • 973 Words

Jans believes that teachers have absolutely nothing to do with how a student preforms in school. He states, “Blaming teachers because your kid can't read makes as much sense as blaming the dentist for a mouthful of cavities”. That statement makes absolutely no sense, because in order to get cavities you choose not to brush your teeth and it is your fault. If you can't read well, it's usually not you're fault. It's a very poor comparison. One statement he had made really bugged me, he claimed that “If I had a hundred bucks for every time a student cheated on a test, or had the nerve to tell me, in the middle of an impassioned lecture, that my presentation was “'boring'”, I could be driving a new car.” If students are actually interrupting his lecture saying they're boring, they probably are! In my experience, when teachers go out of their way to make a lesson interesting I learn more. But when they just talk the entire time with no visuals and little to no humor, I zone out. He states “The problem is far simpler and more ominous: the students themselves.” But then, after he goes on about students and their gaming, music, and sex habits; he claims that it is the parents that are at fault.…

    Slavery Reparation Essay

    • 514 Words
    • 3 Pages

At some point in history slavery has plagued every nation on the planet. Countless governments have allowed the complete control of African Americans for the benefit of other people, usually Caucasians, under the pretention of social, commercial, and technical movement. Even with time passed, African Americans are still resentful for long the long unconstitutional enslavement and mistreatment of their ancestors. There is no excuse for the many years of abuse that the black community received, nor can time heal the wounds left, and even though slavery has ended long ago, the black community is still mistreated with unequal opportunities, racist treatment, social barriers and economic inequalities. Is there a monetary value…

It is imperative that a teacher has a sound understanding of the subject matter that is being delivered, if a student produces material or spoken language that is incorrect the teacher has to have the ability to not only give a correct version, but also to explain clearly and concisely to the student and class why the original material given by the student was incorrect, this is of course only possible if the teachers own knowledge is complete and accurate, the teacher should be able to provide an efficient and thorough explanation and deliver accurate guidance.…
