Andrew White Research Paper

Andrew White is a student who understands that the years spent in high school are what you make of them. Andrew has made the most of his high school career. Not one to be swayed by the masses, Andrew is an individual and is not afraid to think for himself. He is not one to make rash decisions, but thinks carefully about the decisions that he makes. He has a high level of maturity and has easily gained the respect of both peers and staff. His attitude, involvement and dedication to academics along with extracurricular activities are consistently positive. A scholar and an athlete, Andrew always gives one hundred percent effort. Most notably, I am impressed with Andrew’s development into not only an excellent student, but also the consistency he has shown in all areas of his involvement both in and outside of school.
Academically, Andrew has maintained a consistently high level of performance, and has been rewarded with achieving honor roll status each quarter throughout his high school career.
Andrew has prepared well for post-secondary education. Not slowing down or slacking off this year he again raised the bar with a challenging schedule of course that include Advanced Placement courses. His decision about his course selection is indicative to his commitment to learning. The skills that he builds and strengthens are useful in all areas in his life and he possesses the ability to make the connections between the classroom, athletics and on the job.
Andrew is a three-sport athlete and the importance of time management in and out of the classroom is important to keeping balance. Andrew has mastered this skill, and uses it not only to help his team, but also to help others. His love of hockey, in particular, has played an important role in the development of the fine young man he is today. Andrew feels that hockey has provided him with not only the most fun in his life, but also with valuable life lessons about respect, trust, hope and
pain.
Andrew’s grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and watching him deteriorate has motivated him and fueled him to work harder. His grandfather is a significant and influential person in Andrew’s life, which has made witnessing him decline a challenge. Andrew’s grandfather was an engineer and Andrew aspires to follow in his footsteps.
Andrew has prepared well and is eager and excited about the challenges that await him beyond high school. His decision to pursue a degree in Engineering is both consistent and reflective of his preparation and skills. Andrew has met success in many areas of his life and is on his way to continued success. He has been a positive influence to our school community and I know will be an asset to any campus. It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm I recommend Andrew White to.
