The killing of harmless animals for human testing and research is cruel. According to an article published on Do Something “Facts about Animal Testing” approximately 1.13 million animals are tested on each year, and 76,000 of which are subjected to torture without pain relief. In addition to not receiving proper pain relief treatment, animals are locked up in undersized cages with no space to move around in causing animals to die of loneliness and physical stimulation.
