An article in the Ottawa Metro newspaper dated July 21, 2015 reported that the Ashley Madison adultery website counted 50,000 Ottawa members, the highest per capita in the country. Is our Mighty Super Penguin happy and truly fulfilled, we wonder?
Our opinion is that a person who does wrong has a suffering and troubled soul. A person who does wrong but without any feelings attached to his or her grievance is silently desperate for love. Let's say that a person hits a dog but keeps driving while the dog's owner is crying over the pet. If we look deep into that person's heart, we will see that he most probably had negative experiences as a child and is shut to any type of suffering a child may have. He most probably has very little respect for himself either as he shows no respect for others and nature. We would say that this person is in dire need of counseling, as much as the person registered with the Ashley Madison website.
One must also be aware of the individual who uses complaining to obtain power and feed his or her

By our review of literature, do we better understand our Super Mighty Penguin's suffering? How many people today feel unwanted, isolated, unloved, unappreciated, alone? We now understand that sooner or later, people will either shy away or decide to distance themselves from the narcissist. And thus, a trench is created which becomes a river growing ever so more into distant shores. As pictured below in Illustration 1.2, our Super Mighty Penguin's world is now very small and

I love that name. It was not a coincidence you were given that call sign. No one in the National Guard knew your story when you were dubbed Black Magic, and yet it is completely appropriate. Black Magic is an artillery term that turns out to be a mirror of your philosophy thus far: Firing at a given target and making data adjustments from the observed round. Seems like a good plan, until you remember that it is supposed to be an emergency tactic and not the first course of action. Having a well thought out plan is a simple concept that you know all too well, yet you have never applied it to your life. Benjamin Franklin said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”…

Thus, one learns that some teachers take the following view: You can't ever let them get the upper hand on you or you're through. So I start out tough. The first day I get a new class in, I let them know who's boss . . . You've got to start off tough, then you can ease up as you go along. If you start out easy-going, when you try to get tough, they'll just look at you and laugh.9 Similarly, attendants in mental institutions may feel that if the new patient is sharply put in his place the first day on the ward and made to see who is boss, much future difficulty will be prevented.10 Given the fact that the individual effectively projects a definition of the situation when he enters the presence of others, we can assume that events may occur within the Interaction which contradict, discredit, or otherwise throw doubt upon this projection. When these disruptive events occur, the interaction itself may come to a confused and embarrassed halt. Some of the assumptions upon which the responses of the participants had been predicated become untenable, and the participants find themselves lodged in an interaction for which the situation has been wrongly defined and is now no longer defined. At such moments the individual whose presentation has been discredited may feel ashamed while the others present may feel hostile, and all the participants may come to feel ill at ease, nonplussed, out of countenance, embarrassed, experiencing the kind of anomy that is generated when the…

PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as the military combat, natural disasters, terrorism incidents, or any major tragedy. This is common in the life of veterans and is the leading cause of suicide among veterans. A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”. PTSD is about having fear and anxiety, allowing veterans to rage with anger and different emotion. There are many factors to PTSD, which affects others in different ways; or example, using video games to keep them occupied, spending money due to the lack of impulse control because of changes in their brain, and even not obtaining another job.…

Attention Getter: I would like to start my presentation off by telling you all to ask yourselves a series of fairly straight forward questions. I want you to take a look at you’re, any hand and ask your selves “Who’s hand is this?” Do the same with your other hand, and now both legs and your arms if you would like. If I am not mistaking the answer to all your questions are mine right. They are your hands, legs, and arms. What I am trying to get through to you all today is that your body is your body and that a person should be able to profit of his or her own body if done in a safe and controlled way.…
