Through the courses I have I grown when it comes to writing. Having to compose so many different types of essays allowed me to do so. Whether it be learning how to find academic journals or properly making a noted reference. While I have made improvements I still have some growing to do. The future of what types of writing I will have to do depending on the class or major is still unclear, but using the material attained from this class will give me the assistant in future papers and course assignments whether in this University or not on writing APA …show more content…
One of the problems here is their program Turnitin, this problem, however, turned around as I gradually learned to dig deeper and investigate further for my own answers. In the beginning of the semester there was an adjustment period, but as the semester progressed and as I began to work with the system, I learned to be less dependent on the instructors and be more dependent on myself. I think this was a good learning experience. Sometimes teachers answer far too many questions easily when they need to let the student search for their own answer. As a distance-learning student, I found that it was important to work independently to find solutions to problems. This is where my critical thinking skills came in handy. I don't mean to disregard the need for the learning community, but being an independent learner enables a student to be a better member of that learning community. So, to summarize, my greatest weakness the inability to access information instantly became my greatest strength my ability to become an independent learner and achiever. Lastly I think I was able to accomplish many of the course requirement for this course. Not to the best of my ability but I gave it the best that I could. Many I will do better on my next course if I decide to keep
