Good Day! I would like to be considered for the position of a volunteer nurse in your highly regarded institution for six months.
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Mindanao State University (Batch 09-10) and passed the board exam held last July 3-4, 2010. I had the opportunity to be assigned in various wards in the hospital, such as medical ward, surgical ward, psychiatric ward, pediatric ward, infectious ward, and in the OR/DR complex. My experiences working in those wards will make me competitive candidate for the said position.
It will be my first time to work as a registered nurse but I assure you that a high level of competency would be applied to any assignment given to me. Given the opportunity, the areas that I wished to be assigned are the following: 1. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) 2. Orthopedic and Neurological Ward (Ward 2/3) 3. Surgical Ward (Ward 4) I also participated in the Basic Life Support and First Aid Training at Red Cross Youth Training Center, Zamboanga City. Thank you for giving my biodata careful consideration.
