1. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has been used to promote learning and change of behavior using basic principles of behavior analysis. How might ABA be used in your own life? Provide at least one example.
I will explain Applied Behaviour Analysis as a science in which the rules underlining the elements or structure of behaviour are applied methodically to better societal learning and behaviour. Experimentation is used to establish or indicate the different patterns responsible for this behaviour change.
ABA uses basic principles to promote learning and change of behaviour, one of such means is called positive reinforcement, where one receives a reward for engaging in behaviour, this reinforcement …show more content…
From such an environment, it was more of encouragement, For instance toilet training, if done right results in six claps for the child (rhymed; pap, pap, pap, pap, pap pap!) if done wrongly, the child is still walked to the pot and then s/he get the two claps. most kids learning such good toilet behaviour by this method as it is a form of attracting attention.
For instance the habit of been glued to the television far into the night if left alone was very strong, the most appropriate action was to switch off the TV, as going to bed late most times results in waking up late for school, but this was early sorted, how? Schools cane students for attending school late in the morning (not any more), so if they don’t go to bed early it meant they could not possibly wake up early, and been late to school will result in some form of canning. This is a form of avoidance behaviour.

“Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional”.
From the definition of observational learning and plagiarism, I would say that the role played by observational learning in the act of plagiarism, would not be easy to distinguish, published and unpublished material, in whatever form must be evidenced and linked to someone, to show prove of plagiarizing, observational learning involves the process of learning a lot of skills from others that no one single person may claim to be necessarily his own creation, observing how to eat with the fingers cannot be claimed to be developed by a particular human being.
