Archivematica - Introduction
Archivematica is open-source digital preservation software which is developed to manage long-term access to the set of digital objects. Archivematica is integrated with the web-based content management system AtoM for access to digital objects. In addition, it provides a platform of integrated suite of open source tools which enables user to process digital objects from ingest to archival storage and gives access in compliance to the policies with the ISO-OAIS functional model.
Archivematica documentation is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International License. Archivematica code is released under a GNU Affero General Public License.

Micro-services are provided by a combination of Archivematica Python scripts and one or more of the free, open-source software tools bundled in the Archivematica system. These micro-services are broken down into a number of jobs, which users can see by clicking on the micro-service to expand. Clicking on the gear icon within a job will open a new browser tab showing the tasks performed for that particular job.
5. Decision
Certain micro-services result in a decision point for the archivist. The decision is completed by choosing an available option from a drop-down menu. Many of the decision points can be pre-configured if desired in the Administration tab.
6. Report/remove icons
Report (paper and pencil) icons appear on Transfer and Ingest packages and link the user to the descriptive and rights metadata entry page. The red remove icon removes the package from the Dashboard. The package can be removed whether the processing is completed or not.

There are several configurations present in Administration. In particular, we are concentrating on processing configuration menu. It allows you to set points at which Archivematica should stop and allows you to make a decision. You can preset them so that you go through the
