When artificial intelligence can trounce a human player by eliminating the lone physical aspect of gaming (i.e. moving the player’s thumbs and forefingers), it has lost its validity as a sport.” Sports will always be defined as a physical action not sitting at a computer desk and moving one hand and a few fingers, even if doing so is branded as a sport it has lost all validity for other sports.
