Swimmers go to swim team and practice daily so we can keep our speed up. It is important because you don’t want to fall behind in your group. Older swimmers can have a harder time than younger swimmers picking up the speed if they went on a break. We practice for 2 hours a day at least, sometimes morning and afternoon practice. When we are in school we practice in a twenty-five meter pool, but in the summer we practice in a fifty meter pool. Swimmers are some of the most fit athletes in the world. Football for example you run which is something that comes naturally as you mature in age. We work so hard to be able to propel ourselves through the water. Swimming was a sport made to test the strength and endurance of the person swimming.
