Imagine a soft, furry dog wagging its tail and waiting for you to come home. That is a pleasurable experience for anyone to enjoy. Although, some people like cats better than dogs, I disagree. Dogs can be better than cats for many reasons, they’re very smart and show affection. Also, they come in all shapes and sizes. Dogs can learn many different things. Who doesn’t want a smart animal in their life? They can play fetch and even learn to shake your hand. While cats just sit on the couch all day and can’t even follow a command. Cats can sometimes hide for days without coming out. Something that is really powerful in dogs is that they have a strong sense of smell, so they can find their way back home if they get lost. Another amazing fact about a dog is that they can understand up to 250 words and can even perform simple mathematical calculations! These are things that cats can't do. …show more content…
